Big Bubble, Little Bubble

Available now!

Dear Grown-ups,

Thank you for sharing this book with your child and exploring the magical world of their energy bubble — the invisible bubble that surrounds and protects them!

Children naturally sense energy. They feel the warmth of a hug, the excitement of laughter, or the heaviness of a bad day. But they don't always have the words to describe what they're experiencing. Learning about their energy bubble helps them understand their feelings, set healthy boundaries, and recognize the way the world around them shapes their experience.

Every day, your child's energy bubble is growing and changing, based on what happens on the inside and on the outside.

Happy moments — like playing outside, feeling loved, and laughing — help keep their energy big and bright.

Busy or overwhelming times — like a noisy classroom, too much screen time, or rushing through the day — can make their energy feel scattered or small.

Tough emotions — like sadness, anger, or being around negativity — can make their energy feel heavy, tired, or wound up.

By helping your child recognize how their energy feels, they can learn simple ways to protect and recharge their bubble: deep breaths, quiet time, playing in nature, expressing their feelings, and surrounding themselves with kindness.

This book is an invitation for your child to trust their inner world, feel safe in their surroundings, and carry their glowing, magical energy bubble with confidence wherever they go!

Warmly, Anna and Diane.

Being an early childhood educator for over 25 years, what I say every day to young children and their families is: "All feelings are welcome!" Big Bubble, Little Bubble shows us that there are not bad and good feelings, just feelings that come and go.The image of a bubble helps children see that feelings need room to move—rising and falling, growing and shrinking, stretching and changing shape.

When I read Big Bubble, Little Bubble, I immediately realized how transformative the story would be for my classroom. My students instantly grasp the bubble as a metaphor; it's an incredible tool for them to modulate emotions and better understand themselves. The "Bubble" is truly a gift for classrooms and families alike!

Crafting Heartfelt Children’s Stories

A mother-daughter duo with a lifelong love for children’s books, we set out to create stories that help kids understand how their world—inside and out—shapes them. Our first book is a heartwarming guide to how feelings and experiences influence us, told in a way little ones can truly connect with.

The Sky Painter

Pre-sale available April 28!

Dear Reader,

Death can be confusing for children, and it’s often difficult for grown ups to talk with them about it. The Sky Painter offers an opening for conversation.

When a child loses someone dear to them, they search for a way to understand what happens to that relationship after the person's death.

Many families instinctively recognize that our relationships with the people we love don’t end when they die. They shift.

Sometimes there are signs that point to these continuing bonds. Certain objects or symbols may appear, such as feathers, coins, or repeated numbers. A song begins unexpectedly. Butterflies or special birds arrive as if on cue.

Perhaps you, or your children or grandchildren, have had experiences like this and wondered how to hold them?

The Sky Painter offers a warm, accessible story to help children make sense of these experiences, giving them a way to feel secure that love and connection never die.

Warmly,

Anna and Diane

A child’s first experience with death can shape how they will view dying and death for the rest of their life. The Sky Painter gives guidance for supporting children in relationship to end-of-life experiences through a tender, relatable story. We don’t even have to be children to use the guidance found here!

Barbara Karnes, RN

Author of Gone From My Sight: The Dying Experience

This accessible and insightful book offers children a comforting way to understand after-death communication, honoring, both love and the grief. With warmth and clarity, The Sky Painter reassures young readers that connection doesn’t need to end when someone we love dies. The story creates space for feelings and curiosity, meeting children exactly where they are. It’s a valuable resource for families seeking meaning and continuity after loss.

The Sky Painter is a beautiful children's book that shows how connections with loved ones never end, as I know from my husband's passing.
